Company Introduction

The Agricultural Cooperative Society with a Board of Directors, Nihipri of Blolequin (COOP-CA NIHIPRI DE BLOLEQUIN), registered with the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM) under number CI-GUI-2014-CO-175, with Coffee-Cocoa Council code SC080609, and represented by Mr. SAWADOGO NINI JEAN PIERRE, was established on September 7, 2014 following a founding general assembly held by 200 producers from 5 sections and 8 sub-sections.

Our main activity is the purchase and sale of agricultural products (coffee and cocoa).

To date, the Cooperative has several member producers distributed across 5 sections and 8 sub-sections, all certified Fairtrade (FT) and Rainforest Alliance (RA) since 2016.

The management team is made up of members of the Board of Directors and a Director, all experienced and working in the purchase and sale of agricultural products for more than 10 years. Our dynamic network has enabled us to build a strong contact base, leading to collaborations with major companies such as ECOOKIM, FOA, BAYER, ARI VISION, and many others.

Over the past five years, our cooperative has carried out several projects in different villages, including:

Construction of a primary school

Construction of school latrines

Construction of a water tower and three public standpipes for villagers and cooperative members

Implementation of agroforestry projects

The projects listed above were implemented using various funds (Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance premiums) received annually by the cooperative based on the volume of cocoa or coffee delivered to exporters.

Relying on the experience of the management team and its business partners, the cooperative aims to rank among the best cooperatives within the regional delegation.
